Darryl James McGill

Darryl James "Dale" McGill, 50, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Landmark Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born March 27, 1968, in York County, South Carolina, the son of Johnny James Boyd and LaVonne McGill. Dale served his country in the United States Navy. Dale worked for many years for Modine Manufacturing Company in Jefferson City. In his spare time, Dale enjoyed drawing, listening to music, watching old-time TV shows and movies, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Survivors include his mother, LaVonne McGill, Gastonia, N.C.; two children, Rachee Woody, Gastonia, N.C.; Brianna Boney, Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; seven siblings, Rodney McGill, Johnny Boyd Jr., Kevin Boyd, Sean Boyd, Mark Boyd, Camila Wilkens, Johna Boyd; two half siblings, Yolanda Cobb, Ernesto Berry; and his stepmother, Vera Boyd. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Boyd. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
