Clifford Louis Oetting

Clifford Louis Oetting, 67, of Jefferson City, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at his home. He was born on April 19, 1951, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son of the late Charles and Joan (Rozier) Oetting. Clifford graduated from Jefferson City High School. He was employed by the Missouri Department of Corrections from 1972 to 2015. When he was not fishing or tinkering around the yard, he enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Clifford is survived by two sons: Michael (Melanie) Oetting of Mexico, Missouri and Mark (Beth) Oetting of Jefferson City; four siblings: Betty Oetting, Freida (Jimmie) Fisher, Alan Oetting and Carol Oetting (David Murphy); four grandchildren: Austin, Wesley, Abby and Clayton and many nieces and nephews. Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, brother: Pete E. Oetting; special niece: Jessica Oetting and nephew: Brad Oetting. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with Rev. Marion C. Mitchell officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to charity of the donor's choice.
