George (Zekker) Robert Zaring

George (Zekker) Robert Zaring, age 74, of Russellville, Mo., passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019, at his home. He was born September 4, 1944, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Robert and Marie (Kirsch) Zaring, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Helias High School. He was employed as an upholster at Jerry's Auto Trim in Jefferson City, Mo., and at Malcolm's Upholstery in Russellville, Mo. He was a member of Buffalo Club in Olean, Mo. George enjoyed bowling, fishing, darts, pool, collecting arrowheads and watching old westerns. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered. Survivors include: two sons: Roger Zaring, Russellville, Mo. and Robert (Esta) Zaring, Jefferson City, Mo.; one daughter: Sheila (Stephen) Stark, Jefferson City, Mo.; four grandsons: Richard, Andrew, Tyler and Dylan. In addition to his parents George was preceded in death by his sister: Margaret Derks. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Weber Funeral Home, Russellville, Mo. Funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father George Kramer officiating. Burial will be in the Enloe Cemetery, Russellville, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Helias Foundation, 1106 Swifts Highway, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
