Todd Robert Smith

Todd Robert Smith, age 43, of Fredericktown, Mo., passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born February 18, 1975, at Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Billy Jack and Janet Donnell Smith. Todd was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, nature, watching news and history. Todd was preceded in death by grandparents, Roy and Vivian Lorene Donnell and Robert and Eva Smith and his father-in-law, Dr. Victor Bentinganan. Todd married Vernette Bentinganan on May 27, 2000, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Fredericktown, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Vernette Smith; children, Malia Smith and Louis Smith; parents, Billy Jack and Janet Donnell Smith of Jefferson City, Missouri; sister, Aimee Smith of Jefferson City, Missouri. Funeral service was held Friday, September 21, at 3 p.m. at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fredericktown. Services were conducted by Follis & Sons Funeral Home, Fredericktown, Mo.
