Margaret Louise "Aunt Sally" (Haun) Groetsch, 88, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on June 11, 1930, in Shelby, Ohio, a daughter of Stacy and Mary (Bradley) Haun. She was united in marriage to Theodore Groetsch who precedes her in death. Sally graduated from Shelby High School in 1948 and Depauw University in 1952 with her bachelor's degree. She worked as the Secretary to the Director at the Highway Reciprocity Commission until her retirement. She enjoyed visiting and doing activities with friends, loved her many dogs through the years and traveling with her husband Ted. Sally was a volunteer for many years at Capital Region and was one of the original docents at the State of Missouri Governor's Mansion. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her one sister: Catherine (Nelson) Meade from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sally is preceded in death by her husband Ted, and sister, Jean Walker. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., with eulogy at 10:45 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Capital Region Medical Center Foundation.
