Jessica Kay Lako

Jessica Kay Lako, age 31, of Menasha, Wis., formerly of Jefferson City and St. Louis, Mo., passed away suddenly Monday, July 23, 2018. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to David Lako and Rita Denome and was raised in Montana and Jefferson City. She married Josh Gilbers and the two of them moved to Menasha, Wis. where they started their family. She was a bright and bubbly person who could always bring a smile to the room. No matter what she was going through in her own life she would always stop to help others in their time of need. She loved the outdoors, cooking and travel. She wanted to see the world and share those memories with her family. Her love for others was only superseded by her love for her family. She was a great mother, a fantastic wife, and the best daughter and sister that anybody could ask for. Jessica is survived by her husband, Josh; their daughter, Alice Gilbers; her parents; and her brother, Carson Lako. She is further survived by her mother and father in-law, Colette and Robert Gilbers. A memorial service for Jessica will be held in her honor at McNair Park, St. Charles, Mo. from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 29, 2018. In lieu of flowers, a donation fund has been set up in her name.
