Newton E. Jones

Newton E. "Pete" Jones, age 83, of Versailles, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, at his home. He was born December 18, 1934, a son of the late Edgar E. and Blanch O. (Silvey) Jones. Survivors include: his wife, Luella; children, Gary Jones (Leah), Versailles, Eddie Jones (Jim Clement), Ft. Myers, Fla., Teresa Capps, Lake Ozark and Brenda Bright, Versailles; sevengrandsons,12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, September 14, at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Graveside services will follow in the Versailles Cemetery.
