Norma Marie Krenning

Norma Marie (Honse) Krenning, age 75, of Raymondville, Texas, formerly of Jefferson City, departed this life on Friday, August 31, 2018, in the Valley Baptist Medical Center, Harlingen, Texas. She was born on November 25, 1942, at Vienna, a daughter of John Henry and Gladys Elnora (Picker) Honse. Norma was united in marriage on May 2, 1964, at the home of her grandparents, Hal and Lena Picker, in Vienna, to Elmer Leroy "Bud" Krenning, and to this union, three daughters were born. Norma and Bud were baptized together in the mid 1970's on the same day near Paydown in the Gasconade River and were members of the Bethel Church of Christ. Activities she especially enjoyed included playing card games, playing Bingo, and collecting different types of glassware. Norma was a devoted housewife and homemaker for most of her working life, however she had been a Walmart associate, a cafeteria worker "lunch lady" for Blair Oaks School, and a secretary in the ASCS Office in Vienna, prior to her retirement in the late 1990's. Those left to mourn the passing of Norma include: Her daughters, Beverly Krenning Smith (Bob), Lake Wales, Florida, Carol Krenning Gonzagowski (Ron) and Diana Krenning, both of Jefferson City; her grandchildren, Joseph Paul Evers (Cindy), Steedman; Jason Evers (friend Tammy), Frankenstein; Caitrin Miser (Christaan), Imperial; Robert William Smith, Rolla; Elizabeth Ann Brown, Eugene; Tony Krenning (Jesi), Chelsea Blackwell (friend Andrew), Caleb Botts, and Hallie Botts, all of Jefferson City; 18 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Lloyd Honse, Wanda Hutson (Billy), and Linda Honse, all of Vienna; Wilma Hauser (Rod), Eldon; Wesley Honse (Jane), and Gary Honse (Debbie), all of Vienna; Marjorie Fowler, Rich Fountain; and Roger Honse, Vienna; brothers-in-law, Vernon Tilghman Feeler, Bourbon, and Dennis L. Lewis, Vienna; her maternal uncle and aunt, Delmar "Bud" Picker (Rita), Jefferson City; nephews; nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends. ;She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, on October 1, 2012; a grandson, Jaxsen Rhys Miser, on March 11, 2015; her father, Henry, on August 19, 1974; her mother, Gladys, on June 12, 1981; four sisters, Christina Lea "Christi" Honse on June 3, 1996, Helen Kay Adams on January 18, 2009, Louise Ann Feeler on July 2, 2015, and Marilyn Yvonne Lewis on October 17, 2016; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Ann Honse, on May 16, 2018; and a niece, Abigail "Abby" Lewis, on July 2, 2015. Visitation for Mrs. Norma Marie Krenning will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, MO 65582, and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018, in the Bethel Church of Christ, Paydown Road, Vienna, MO 65582. Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Marie Krenning will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018, in the Bethel Church of Christ, Paydown Road, Vienna, MO 65582, with Minister Zachary M. Hall officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery located next to the church, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna. Pallbearers for Mrs. Krenning will be Joseph Paul Evers, Jason Evers, Tony Krenning, Caleb Botts, Aaron Hutson, and Derek Hutson, and honorary pallbearers will be her card playing friends at the Gateway RV Park in Raymondville, Texas.
