James Dale Ruppel

James "Jimmy" Dale Ruppel, 46, of California, Mo., passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo. He was born February 21, 1972 in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of James E. Ruppel "Tattoo Jim" and Shirley (Sundermeyer) Ruppel. Jimmy was a believer and attended Spring Valley Baptist Church. Survivors include: sons, Keegan Ruppel of California, Mo., and Jett Ruppel of Jefferson City, Mo.; mother, Shirley Ruppel of California, Mo.; brothers, Jason Ruppel (Amanda) of Holts Summit, Mo. and Jack Ruppel (Jessica) of Eugene, Mo.; sisters, Candy Knox (Dave) of Henley, Mo. and Kalee Ruppel (Johnny Wyatt) of Wainwright, Mo.; granddaughters, Harper Large and Violet Ruppel; grandson, Carter Freese; and his significant other, Debbie Munson of California, Mo. He was formerly married to Michelle (Streiler) Ruppel. His father preceded him in death. Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo. Funeral Service will also be at Phillips Funeral Home on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Sonny Meyer officiating. Interment will follow at Robinett Cemetery near Brumley, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name are suggested in care of the family. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
