Mary Ruth (Irvin) Morrison

Mary Ruth (Irvin) Morrison, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018. Mary Ruth was born in Montana, but always considered Jefferson City, Missouri her hometown. She graduated in 1952 from Jefferson City High School. She was a flight attendant on the inaugural crew of Ozark Airlines out of Jefferson City and in 1954, met and married Richard Allen Morrison, travel director and former WWII Sergeant and POW. The couple settled in Manchester, Missouri in 1969, where she raised six children and managed an in-home daycare. Ruth worked for Maritz Travel in the 1980's before joining the staff of Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis, where she worked for 22 years before retiring in 2014. Memorial service will be Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Community Christian Church, 623 Meramec Station Road, Manchester, MO 63021.
