Deborah "Debbie" Ann Laughlin, age 56, of Frankenstein, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City surrounded by her family and close friends. Debbie was born May 15, 1962, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Frank Joseph Keilholz and Agnes Marie (Maassen) Keilholz, who survives in Frankenstein. Debbie attended grade school at St. Mary's School in Frankenstein and was a 1980 graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia. On May 14, 1983, she was united in marriage to Peter "Pete" Raymond Laughlin at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein. He survives at the home. Debbie was employed with the State of Missouri for 26 years, as well as working at Florsheim Shoe Factory in Jefferson City and Elsevier in Linn. Debbie was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein and the Ladies Sodality. She enjoyed photography, antiquing, shopping, baking, decorating, and traveling. Debbie's greatest love was her family and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her mother and spouse of 35 years, Debbie is survived by: a son, Brian Laughlin and his wife Kelsea of Rich Fountain; a daughter, Sandra Lehmen and her husband Andy of Rich Fountain; two grandchildren, Sadi Rae and Tucker James Lehmen and one on the way for Brian and Kelsea; five brothers, Doug, Vernon and Jeff Keilholz, all of Frankenstein, Alvin Keilholz and his wife Celeste of Jefferson City, and Chris Keilholz and his wife Marilyn of Linn; two sisters, Rhonda Bruemmer and her husband Randy of Wardsville, and Becky Wingrath and her husband Scott of Linn; her father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Wilma Laughlin of Frankenstein; five brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her father, Debbie was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Fr. Daniel Merz as the celebrant. Interment will be in the Garden of Gethsemane Cemetery in Frankenstein. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the intentions of the Laughlin Family.
