James Harvey Weadick

James Harvey Weadick, 90, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at his home, surrounded by family. He was born on June 20, 1928, in Ontario, Canada, the son of the late Arthur George Weadick and Dorothea B. (Kirvan) Weadick. He worked for SmithKline Beecham's animal science division for many years before starting his own company, Agritek Marketing, which he ran until he was 84 years of age. Harvey was united in marriage on May 5, 1968 to the late Billie J Weadick. He was a storyteller, loved to close on a good deal, and loved the cowboy/western era. He loved to drink a cold Keystone light earning him the nickname of "The Keystone Cowboy". He was an amazing father and grandfather and will be missed beyond words. He is survived by two sons, Christopher James (CJ) Weadick and wife Melissa Mincher-Weadick of Russellville, Mo., and James Douglas Weadick of Viera, Fla.; one daughter, Karlene Soltero and husband Rick of Scottsdale, Ariz.; along with three grandchildren, Nile Christopher Weadick, James Matthew Weadick, and James Joseph Weadick; and one great-grandson, Lincoln Joseph Weadick.
