Mr. Billie D. Smith, age 85 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018 in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Charles Jackson officiating. Graveside services and interment with military honors will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Samuel Gearhart Detachment of the Marine Corps League or the American Legion, Roscoe Enloe Post 5.
