Pearl Stodgell

Pearl "Mal" Stodgell, 87 of Rocky Mount, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 4, 1930 in Tipton, Missouri, the daughter of the late Roy H. and Malvina Pearl (Robinson) Embry. On August 19, 1952, she was united in marriage to William "Bill" Stodgell, who preceded her in death in January 2007. Mal loved to bowl and travel. She dearly loved her fur babies as they were her children. Travore, her last fur baby, crossed the Rainbow Bridge on January 17, 2018. She and her husband lived their married years in Jefferson City, Mo. She resided three years in Visalia, Calif., where she enjoyed the fresh fruit, vegetables and most of all the weather. She is survived by her good friends, Howard and Connie Carender. A Memorial Service for Mal is planned for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
