Linda Sue Moeller, 68, of Jefferson City, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at her home. She was born on December 23, 1949 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was raised by Donald "Dink" and Doris (Barrett) Thompson. She was united in marriage in Jefferson City on September 21, 1991 to David Moeller, who survives at their home. She was a 1967 graduate of Jefferson City High School. Linda was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Wardsville and was employed with the University of Missouri as an Assistant Fiscal Manager in the College of Arts and Science from 1970 until 2017. She enjoyed going to the casino, online gaming, music, reading, fishing and being outside on their farm. Linda was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest love and joy was being a proud Memaw to her grandchildren. Along with her husband, David, she is survived by her parents: Donald "Dink" and Doris Thompson of Jefferson City; children: Michael Moeller (Dana) of Lohman, Chris Sapp (Erica) of Quinlan, Texas, Dinah Verslues (Jason) of Taos, Jenna Sapp of Ashland; siblings: Dwayne Thompson of Jefferson City, Pamela Good of Jefferson City, David Farley (Maureen) of St. Paul, Minn., Judy Farley Roach of Jefferson City; brother-in-law: Richard Hazel of Jefferson City; grandchildren: Chris Holcombe, Mackenzie VanderFeltz, Macie Moeller, Jacob VanderFeltz, Hailey VanderFeltz, Kamryn Verslues; great-grandchildren: Isabella Holcombe, McKenna Holcombe and Lucas Holcombe; as well as many other family members and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her sisters: Joyce Ann Hazel and Cindy Farley; and brother: John Farley. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Wardsville. Expression of sympathy may be made for Masses or Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
