Henrietta Harper

Henrietta Harper, age 83, formerly of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at St. Joseph Bluffs in Jefferson City, Mo. Henrietta Rosalie Harper was born November 30, 1935 in Gilliam, Mo. to Henry John and Mary Clara (Koy) Sulltrop. She had lived in Fort Wayne, Ind., Lauderhill, Fla, Canton, Ohio and Jefferson City at the time of her death. Henrietta was active in the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority over 30 years. She worked as a Merchandise Manager at K-Mart for over 25 years. While in Fayette, she was a member of the Golden Study Club and also was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for a number of years. Survivors include her three sons, Brian Harper of Jefferson City, Mo., Kevin Harper and Patrick Harper, both of Leesburg, Fla.; one grandson, Christopher Harper; one sister, Irene Crowley of Fayette; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Leroy, Victor and James; and four sisters, Bernice Bockting, Dorothy McClammer, Helen Frazee and Mary Jane Silvey. A Funeral Mass honoring Henrietta's life will be 11 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Peckman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Fayette City Cemetery. Flowers are greatly appreciated, but would prefer memorial donations to St. Joseph Catholic Church of Fayette or Immaculate Conception of Jefferson City, in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home, Fayette, Mo.
