Patricia E. Prenger

Patricia E. Prenger, age 75, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Holts Summit, passed away on May 6, 2018 at Conway Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Patricia (Pat) was a graduate of Helias High School and proceeded to be a nurse anesthetist after attending nursing school at St. Mary's in Kansas City. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. Survivors include her son, Keith of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; her daughter, Michelle Callahan of Valdosta, Ga.; a brother, Kenneth Hackman of Elston, Mo.; two grandchildren, Connor and Caitlyn Callahan, both of Valdosta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Harold Prenger. Services were provided by Myrtle Beach Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, S.C. A memorial will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Tanner Bridge Road on August 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. to honor her memory.
