Erin Reynolds, 40, of Columbia, formerly of Jefferson City, transitioned from this life into eternity on Friday, March 30, 2018 in Branson West, Missouri after a sudden illness. Erin Ashley (Hendricks) Reynolds was born on November 11, 1977, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Rev. Adrian Cyrus Hendricks Sr. and Rev. Laurain (Carroll) Hendricks of Florissant, Missouri. She was united in marriage on October 30, 2004, to Marcus Reynolds in Holts Summit, he survives at the home. Spending time in both Carbondale and Springfield, Illinois, Erin was a graduate of Rich Central High School class of 1995, in Olympia Fields, Illinois. She was an active youth, playing basketball, running track and singing in the choir. Erin graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a BS Degree in Psychology in 1999. She obtained her Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Chicago in 2002, and was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W.) since 2009. Erin served as the first Executive Director for Family Access Center for Excellence (F.A.C.E) of Boone County. She founded her own counseling practice "SEMS Treatment Services, LLC." in 2010 and was an adjunct professor for Columbia College since 2014. During Erin's professional careers she held many leadership positions and served on various boards throughout Central Missouri and the St. Louis area. Erin, always interested in ministering to others, founded HOPE Ministries as a young adult in Chicago, Illinois. She accepted her calling and was licensed as a minister at True Right Baptist Church of Chicago under Pastor Fredrick Wilson Jr in 2001. Erin, along with her husband served as Co-Pastors of Fifth Street Christian Church (DOC) Columbia, MO from 2013-2017. In 2018 Erin birthed Kingdom Living Ministries International (KLMI). Erin was a preaching extraordinaire and shared God's Word across the country. She is also survived by her husband of 14 years, Marcus Reynolds; children: My'Erin and Steven, both of the home; brothers: Adrian Hendricks II (Andria) of Jefferson City and Terence Brown of Georgia; mother-in-law: Debra Triplett (Robert) of Holts Summit; father-in-law: Bewey "Chip" Britt of Jefferson City; sister-in-law: LaTanya Molina of Kansas City; brother-in-law: Bradley Reynolds of Kansas City; maternal grandmother: Maureen Carroll of Olympia Fields, Illinois; paternal grandmother: Elee Hendricks of Fairview Heights, Illinois and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Erin was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Oliver Hendriks and maternal grandfather Charles Carroll. The family will receive friends and relatives from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Parker-Millard Funeral Service with personal reflections at 7:00 p.m. Homegoing Celebration will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Holts Summit. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
