Denise A. Wright

Denise A. Wright, age 68, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in her home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Los Angeles, Calif. on November 29, 1948 to Bonnie (Sullens) Conger and Harry Conger. She attended high school in Colorado and later in life received her degree in social work there. Denise enjoyed traveling overseas with her husband Fred Wright who was stationed in Germany for several years. They then relocated to Missouri where Denise owned and operated an adult day care center where she provided compassionate care to local senior citizens. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, doing crafts, reading, and caring for her beloved dog, Mick. She is survived by her son, David Wright and his wife Brenda and her grandson Jacob Wright from Florida; her brother, Darryl Conger from Colorado; her sister, Angie Carter of Holts Summit; and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie Whittier and Harry Conger, and her brother, Curtis Frizzell. There will be a scripture reading and prayer offered by her brother-in-law, Don Carter at 5 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Debo Funeral Home, 10920 Old Highway 54 North, in Holts Summit to commemorate her life.
