Richard Duane Pickens II

Richard "Ricky" Duane Pickens II, sweet infant son of Andrew and Jennifer Pickens, Jefferson City, went to Heaven to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was born July 17, 2017 in Columbia, Missouri. Ricky was diagnosed with Severe Pulmonary Stenosis. He was in NICU for 9 days when he was born. He was a Super Hero and a fighter since day one. He had heart surgery on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, and came out of surgery a champ. Fly high baby boy, mommy and daddy love you! He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Jennifer Pickens; one brother, Jeremiah Kenneth Brock; grandparents, Ronald and Marcia Hollandsworth, Michael and Tracy Morgan and Kenny and Leona. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and great-grandparents. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard "Papa Ricky" Pickens. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2017, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private in The Garden of Innocence at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
