Mary S. Flores

Mary S. Flores, 93, of Ashland, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 13, 1924 in Mokane, Missouri, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Bell (Jeffery) Love. On July 28, 1979, she was united in marriage to Joseph Flores, whom preceded her in death. Mary attended school in Mokane. She worked in a shoe factory in Fulton, McGraw Edison for over 20 years and then worked as a housekeeper at Oak Tree Villas. Mary enjoyed dancing, shopping and loved quilting and sewing. She is survived by her daughter: Margaret Blythe of Ashland; grandchildren: Sherry Powell of Ashland, Rowland Blythe of Ashland, Dwayne Blythe of Ashland, Monik Robinson (Russell) of Mokane, Elaine Creed (Pat Jones) of Fulton, as well as several other grandchildren that live out of the area; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her children: JoAnn Todd, Donald R. Jennings and Alice Marie Monteith. Family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
