Louis Bernard Rademan

Louis Bernard Rademan, 87, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born June 27, 1929, in Folk, Missouri, the son of the late Anton and Verona (Moeller) Rademann. He attended eight years of school at Castle Rock in Folk. Louis served in the United States Army from 1952-1954 at West Point in New York. He was united in marriage on November 26, 1977, in Jefferson City, to Johanna (Rustemeyer) Foubister, who survives at the home. Louis worked in Nebraska for three years, DeLongs, Inc. for 16 years, and the Missouri Highway Department for 21 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, and the American Legion. He loved to garden and always put a big garden at the family cabin on the Osage River. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan, and especially loved being with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Johanna Rademan, Jefferson City; three step-daughters, Christy (Juan) Velazquez, Jefferson City; Bev (Dwight) Thoenen, Centertown; Jackie (John) Gilmore, Taos; seven grandchildren, Josh (Angela) Moore, Amanda (Stacy) Jordan, Katelynn (Britton) Cummings, Maria Velazquez, Jennifer Velazquez, Casey Gilmore, Jessie Gilmore; eight great-grandchildren, Madison Thoenen, Hailey Jordan, Devin Jordan, Cole Jordan, Lennon Jordan, Carmela Velazquez, Dexter Moore, Kayden Moore; three siblings, Agnes Distler, St. Martins; Mary (Bill) Wekenborg, Texas; Elmer Rademann, Folk; brother-in-law, George Ferris, New Bloomfield; a sister-in-law, Rita Rustemeyer, St. Martins; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Clarence (Coletta) Rademan, Edwin (Frances) Rademann, Alfred Rademann; four sisters, Leona (Bill) Kauffman, Ann (Floyd) Wilson, Clara (Bill) Ferris, Regina Ferris; and two brothers-in-law, Anthony Distler and Herbert Rustemeyer. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Antweiler officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
