Kyle Grant Dudley, 54, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at his residence. He was born on September 26, 1962, in Jefferson City, a son of Gary Dudley and L'Wana Rose Hagner. As a child Kyle was a member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was a graduate of Jefferson City Public High School where he was on the football team. He worked for over 30 years at Harold Hagner Construction before retiring due to medical reasons. He enjoyed being outdoors, playing softball, disc golf and fishing. Kyle was a great cook and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. Kyle is survived by his parents: Gary Dudley of Jefferson City and L'Wana and Harold Hagner of Jefferson City; grandmother: Irma Lee Gentges of Jefferson City; brothers: Ronald Kent Smith, Phillip Kirk Smith and Rusty James Hart (Laura), all of Jefferson City; his best friend: Ben Chapin; and his beloved cat: Patches as well as many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Frank and Emalie Dudley and HP Gentges; and a cousin: Angela Carol Koestner. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Houser Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Houser Millard Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
