John William Rose

John William Rose, 63, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on November 3, 2016, in Las Vegas. Born in Jefferson City, John graduated from Helias High School and attended Central Missouri State College. He moved west as a young man and worked as a waiter, a salesman, a truck driver, a computer programmer, and for a time owned his own business. John enjoyed playing pool and chess. He had a deep and strong faith in God. He is survived by three sisters and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Virginia Rose. A funeral Mass was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 23 at 11 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City.
