Carmen L (Seyfert) Schnuck

Carmen L. (Seyfert) Schnuck, 77, of California, Mo., passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on November 20, 1939 in Moniteau County, the daughter of John Arthur Seyfert and Ruth Gladys Kolb, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a graduate of California High School in 1957. She was a member of the California United Church of Christ. She retired from Montgomery Wards where she worked for many years, and was a contact and supporter for the OATS system. She enjoyed being in the parades, Christmas, bingo, dominos, and loved holidays. Survivors include numerous friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Edwin Schnuck II in October of 1983, and Charles Edwin Schnuck. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 1 2:30 p.m. with a funeral service following at 2:30 p.m., both at the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Andrew Lovins. Burial will be at the Evangelical Cemetery in California, Mo. Memorials are suggested to the California United Church of Christ, c/o the funeral home.
