Ty Dean Cooper, 18, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017, at his home. He was born December 28, 1998 in Jefferson City, the son of Matthew Cooper and Cheramie Gish. Ty had attended Reeds Spring High School in Reeds Spring and was currently a senior at Jefferson City High School. He was employed with Goodrich Capital 8 Theaters. Ty loved music and playing his guitar. He was a huge movie buff and enjoyed history, reading and writing. Most of all he enjoyed time spent with his family. He is survived by his father: Matthew Cooper and Leslie Porter of Jefferson City; mother: Cheramie Reeder of Florida; three siblings: Wyatt Cooper, Carson Cooper and Harper Cooper Coltrane; paternal grandparents: Rick and Rhonda Johnson of Jefferson City and Virgil Cooper of Bland; maternal grandparents: Ed and Cassandra Gish of West Plains; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with Dr. Rev. Lewis Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bland Cemetery, Bland, Missouri. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Ty Cooper.
