Richard D. Stone

Richard D. Stone, 53, of Holts Summit, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017, at his residence. He was born October 24, 1963, in Fresno, California, the son of Richard W. and Irene (Fincher) Stone. Richard worked in maintenance for many years, and had worked for a subdivision in Columbia, Missouri. He enjoyed drawing and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his mother: Irene Stone of Holts Summit, Mo.; one daughter: Danielle Schellman of Springfield, Mo.; and one step-daughter: Heather Lawrence of Aurora, Mo. He was preceded in death by his father: Richard W. Stone. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2017, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
