Gary Ray Hutinger, 68, of Loose Creek, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born June 23, 1948, at home in Cedar City, the son of the late Ralph Clinton and Emma Lee (Willmeno) Hutinger Sr. He was united in marriage on November 24, 1968, in Jefferson City to Shirley Ann Bemboom, who survives at the home. A 1966 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Gary graduated magna cum laude from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science in 1996. Gary owned and operated Gary Hutinger Trucking Company, retiring in 1992. He loved to fish and hunt. He built a three wheel reverse trike and enjoyed rebuilding radio controlled cars. He also enjoyed working on cars with his son. Other survivors include his son, Tim Hutinger (significant other Julie Sanders), Holts Summit; a daughter, Tammy (Scott) Strauch, Linn; three brothers, William (Mary) Hutinger, Ralph Hutinger Jr., and Joe (Debbie) Hutinger, all of Holts Summit; one sister, Debbie (Dick) Carel, Holts Summit; and two grandchildren, Austin Fisher and Anthony Strauch. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
