Treasa Fae Brown

Treasa Fae Brown, 50, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1967, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of the late Emmitt and Burma (Cotton) Brown. She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. Treasa enjoyed fishing, fostering families, dogs and dog rescue. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her great-nieces and nephews. Treasa is survived by a brother: Tim Brown (wife Sandra) of Navarre, Florida; two nieces: Jessica Luebbert (husband Ricky) of Navarre, Florida, and Krystal Brown of the state of Ohio; one nephew: Scott Longwell of the state of Texas; and five great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Treasa's Life will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at the Life House Church, 222 E. Center Street, Holts Summit, Mo., with Pastor Greg Smith officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter.
