Iven J. Diemler

Iven J. Diemler, 76, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Village House Hospice in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Iven was born on May 29, 1940, in Jefferson City, Missouri to Edward and Mary (Iven) Diemler, deceased. He graduated from Helias High School and Lincoln University. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Upon Honorable Discharge, he worked for 30 years for the Federal Government. Iven is survived by his wife, Sandra (Case) Diemler of Lee's Summit: sons, Keith Diemler of Lee's Summit, Christopher Diemler, Columbia, Mo., Jeffrey Diemler: daughter-in-law, Claire Diemler, Columbia, Mo: grandson, Henry Diemler and granddaughter Lucy Diemler, both of Columbia, Mo.; sister, Myrene Diemler, Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers-in-law, Dennis Case and Tommy case: and sisters-in-law, Pauline Diemler, Cincinnati, Ohio and Barbara Diemler, Jefferson City, Mo., plus numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Diemler, and three brothers, Howard, Stanley and Bill Diemler. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017, at Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church in Lee's Summit. Inurnment will follow at the Lee's Summit Cemetery.
