Darlene Gregory

Darlene Gregory, 85, born on December 27, 1930, passed away August 26, 2016, after a short illness in Destin, Florida. The daughter of Oda A. and Everett P. Scott, Darlene attended Jefferson City schools, graduating in 1948. She married Clay T. Gregory and they lived in Springfield, Missouri as they raised their family. Darlene's favorite trips always involved water, so many trips were made to the coasts or Hawaii. It was fitting that she moved to Florida with family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay T. Gregory; a son, Terry Don Gregory; a son-in-law, Terry Gerard; and a brother-in-law, Dick Cramer. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Mike) Downing; granddaughter, Tracy (Jeremy) Cranford; step-granddaughter, Michelle Downing; daughter-in-law, Donna Gregory; and three sisters, Norma (Henry) Hebel, Quincy, Ill.; Pat Cramer, Jefferson City, Mo.; and Doris (Tom) Brown, Nixa, Mo. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in her beloved city, Destin, Florida. Arrangements are being assisted by Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
