Dylan James Bias, 21, of Centertown, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born on August 2, 1995 in Jefferson City, to Keith Wayne and Stephanie (Cardwell) Bias, who survive in Jefferson City. He was a 2014 graduate of Russellville High School and was the co-owner of Bias Lawncare and Landscaping. For the first four years of his life, Dylan was blessed with a wonderful grandfather. He was the apple of Papa Doug's eye. Fate brought Dylan another grandfather who was with him for the last 16 years of his life. His mentor, his buddy, his "Smokin Joe". They have been blessed to have each other, became partners in crime, but most of all, the love they shared between them will be a bond that will never be broken. Dylan enjoyed diesel trucks and heavy equipment operations and mechanics. He loved to be in the woods, tracking and hunting deer. He was an avid street stock racer with his grandpa Joe, especially at XX Speedway in California. Most of all, Dylan loved his family and friends. The memories they have made over his lifetime will be forever remembered and cherished. Dylan is also survived by paternal grandmother: Dorothy Bias of Jefferson City; maternal grandparents: Diana (Joe) Miller of Centertown and Russell (Denise) Cardwell of Tampa, Florida; maternal great-grandmother: Verna Pemberton of Iberia, Missouri; maternal great-great grandmother: Lucy Stieferman of Jefferson City; one brother: Mason Bias of Jefferson City; one sister: Emma Bias of Jefferson City; maternal aunt: Carly (Scott) Hughes of Loose Creek; special cousins: Carson Butts, Cade Butts and Marcus Miranda; his girlfriend: Grace Young; and many paternal aunts and uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Clellan Bias; maternal great-grandparents: Cecil and Joanna Riley; and one sister: Ava Bias in 2008. A Celebration of Dylan's Life will be held from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Apple Creek Farm, 620 Murphy Ford Rd., Centertown, MO 65023, with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be private for the family.
