William H. Anderson

Mr. William H. "Bill" Anderson, age 77 years, of Russellville, Mo., died Friday, March 4, 2016, at the Capital Region Medical Center. Bill was born August 18, 1938 in Centertown, Mo., the son of Elga W. and Margaret Wekamp Anderson. He was married on August 22, 1959, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Geraldine Loveall. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Bill attended Russellville High School in Russellville, Mo. Bill owned and operated numerous construction businesses and he also operated a dairy farm. He founded the Anglers Camp in Warsaw and retired as owner and operator of the A & B Trucking Company in 1993. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and restoring old tractors and cars. Bill also enjoyed traveling, spending several winters in Texas. He was a licensed pilot, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. Survivors include: his wife of 56 years, Geraldine Anderson; two daughters, Karen Anderson and Brenda Hentges, both of Russellville, Mo.; one son, Doug Anderson of Russellville, Mo.; two sisters, Juanita Bertucci and her husband Mike of Russellville, Mo. and Sharon Murphy and her husband Kenneth of Centertown, Mo.; four grandchildren, Wesley Hentges of Chicago, Ill., Whitney Hentges and her fiancÈ, Tyler Chainey, of Russellville, Mo., Colby Anderson of St. Marcus, Texas, and Levi Anderson of Ft. Sill, Okla.; one great-grandson, Landen Hentges. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Cecil Anderson. Visitation will be at the Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 7, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 7, 2016 in the Freeman Chapel.
