Cynthia Lynn 'Cindy' Carmack, 46, of Oregon City, Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at her residence. She was born on September 22, 1969, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Lawrence and Joann Wansing. She was married on December 28, 1995, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Kevin Carmack, who survives at the home. Cindy graduated from Fatima High School in Westphalia in 1987. She was in the United States Air Force from 1987 to 1992, and served during the Gulf War and also in Alaska at Eielson Air Force Base. She worked for Central Bank from 1996 to 2015, and with Ash Grove Cement from September 2015 to June 2016. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, road trips and motorcycle rides. She loved her dogs. Along with her husband of 20 years, she is survived by: three step-daughters: Rachael Carmack of Milwaukie, Oregon; Ryann Rice and husband Kyle of Oregon City; and Ashley Roberts of Tacoma, Washington; two grandchildren: Deven Chada and Carson Rice; her parents; and 11 brothers and sisters. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. A Celebration of Cindy's Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. There will be a Memorial Mass to be held at a later date at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta. Inurnment will be private for the family and will be at a later date.
