Harry Wayne Lamb Jr.

Harry Wayne Lamb Jr., 76, of Jefferson City, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 22, 2016. Harry was born February 12, 1939 and on April 1, 1958, he married Joyce Kenniston. He was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene where he taught Sunday School, Boys Junior classes and frequently sang in church. He loved to read his bible, work on classic cars, and spend time with family. Harry is survived by his wife, Joyce Kenniston Lamb of Jefferson City, Mo.; his son, Harry "Bo" Lamb III and his wife Kathy of Edinboro, Pa.; his daughter, Julie Lamb of Fulton, Mo.; his sister, Audrey Cmiel of Corry, Pa.; his grandchildren, Brock and Jaykob Lamb, Shanelle Arlen, Larissa Lamb, Kevin Garwood II and Willow Garwood; two step-grandchildren, Gregory Baney Jr. and Denys Benedict; as well as five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Rylee, Taylor and Brantley Arlen, and Lucas Lamb. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lamb Sr. and Nellie Lamb; sisters, Shirley Reynolds, Doris Wetmore and JoAnne Pierson; daughter, Lori Ann Lamb; son, Terry Lamb; and two granddaughters, Caitlin Garwood and Emily Garwood. Funeral services conducted by Chaplain Bart Larson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016 at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 616 Jackson St., Columbia, MO 65203. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Corry, Pa.
