Angela Eichholz

Angela Ann Eichholz, 48, of Centerville, Ohio, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016. She was born on June 16, 1967, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Ronald and Patricia (Natsch) Eichholz. Born with a light in her eyes and a smile in her heart, Angela touched lives everywhere she went. Angela spent her early years in central Missouri and moved to Centerville, Ohio in 1979. She graduated from Centerville High School and began a career in food service. She worked for many years at McDonalds during the early morning shift, and got to know many of the every day customers. After taking a brief detour into hotel housekeeping, she returned to the food industry and became a fixture at the local Kroger's grocery store where she was a bagger for 19 years. She loved stories and movies with a happy ending. Angela nearly set a world record in the 1980's with her daily viewings of Dirty Dancing. She enjoyed making household items with yarn and plastic canvas, and gave away coasters and trivets to everyone she knew. She was the first to put up holiday decorations and the last to take them down, regardless of what holiday it was. She had nothing but love to give, and she gave it to every person she met, without hesitation. Along with her parents, Angela is survived by her fiancé: Dennis Hovden of Centerville, Ohio; brother: Jeff Eichholz (Kristen) of Baton Rouge, La.; sister: Christina Rowe (Doug) of Westlake, Ohio; one niece, and four nephews. She leaves behind a large extended family in Missouri and Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Lee Eichholz. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, at the Hilke-Millard Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia, with Father Mark S. Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
