Timothy Charles Deeken

Timothy Charles Deeken, age 53, of Vienna, departed this life on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at his residence. He was born on January 16, 1963, in Jefferson City, a son of Clemens John and Imelda Barbara (Jaegers) Deeken. Tim was united in marriage on April 17, 1999, at Vienna, to Deborah Renae Hollis. Tim was a member of the Visitation Catholic Church, and the Visitation Knights of Columbus Council No. 13178, both in Vienna. He was a welder by trade and had been employed by numerous construction companies for most of his working life and was self-employed at the time of his passing. Tim enjoyed caring for his cattle, being outside, but most of all, enjoyed being with his grandchildren. Those left to mourn the passing of Tim include: his wife, Debbie Deeken, of the home near Vienna; one son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Annelise Hollis of Millersburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Andy Schwartze of Argyle; his mother, Imelda Deeken Riley of Vienna; four grandchildren, Hunter Schwartze, Weston Schwartze, Luke Hollis and Bayla Hollis; three sisters, Janette Davis of Freeburg; Marsha (John) Krone of Peoria, Illinois, and Norma (Kevin) Doerhoff of St. Elizabeth; two step-brothers, Bob (Terry) Riley of Cuba, and J.R. Riley of Minot, North Dakota; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clemens, on January 27, 1969; his step-father, Willard John Riley, on February 19, 2013; one brother-in-law, Henry Hardin Davis, on May 28, 2011; and one step-sister, Connie Stillman. A Prayer Service was held for Tim at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes with the Rev. Matthew Flatley leading. The Mass of Christian burial was celebrated for Tim at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016, in the Visitation Catholic Church in Vienna with the Rev. Matthew Flatley as the Celebrant. Interment was in the St. Aloysius Cemetery in Argyle, near his father and other relatives, under the direction of the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Pallbearers for Tim were Ryan Davis, Colby Davis, Jason Doerhoff, Bradley Krone, Jason Rehagen and Matt Ryan. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the Visitation Catholic Church in Vienna, with envelopes available at the Vienna Office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
