Stephen R Caudle

Mr. Stephen R. Caudle, 65, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016. He was born December 11, 1950, in Kennett, Mo., a son of Bill M. and Dorothy M. (Sawyer) Caudle. Stephen served his country in the U.S. Armed Forces at a young age. He was employed as a Jailer at the Cole County Sheriffís Department for a number of years until his retirement. Stephen was a member of the Jefferson City American Legion Post 5. Stephen was a NASCAR fan. He enjoyed football, carpentry, construction and his beloved dog, Ruby. Stephen is survived by two sons: Brad Caudle (Diane) of Jefferson City, Mo., Chris Caudle (Jeanine) of Holts Summit, Mo.; nine grandchildren: Kierah, Kaiden, Ashtyn, Ryder, Nicole, Felicia, Kelly, Kyle, Brandy; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of Stephenís life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the Elks Lodge in Jefferson City.
