Richard Carl Hulsey

Richard Carl Hulsey, 50, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016, at SSM-St.Mary's Health Center. He was born August 26, 1965, in Marshall, Ark., a son of Carl and Sherrion (Sullins) Hulsey. He was united in marriage on August 16, 1997, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Fulton, to Colleen Clark, who survives at their home. Richard was a 1983 graduate of Jefferson City High School. He worked for Unilever as a Forklift Driver for 15 years until his retirement. Richard was a devoted husband and wonderful family man. In addition to his wife, Colleen, Richard is survived by: his mother, Sherrion Hulsey (Ray) of Jefferson City, Mo.; step-mother, Linda Hulsey of Springfield, Mo.; one son, Mitchell Fifer (Haley) of Cape Coral, Fla.; five daughters, Mollie Hulsey of Jefferson City, Mo., McKenzee Hulsey of Jefferson City, Mo., Abygael Hulsey of Jefferson City, Mo., Holli Kempker of Brazito, Mo., Ciara Wilson of Bunceton, Mo.;one grandson, Blake Michael Fifer of Cape Coral, Fla.; two brothers, Leroy Hulsey (Angie) of Jefferson City, Mo., Michael Jones of Rogersville, Mo. ; two sisters, Karla Werdehausen (Bill) of California, Mo., Kelly Waggnor-Hulsey (Jeanne) of Jefferson City, Mo.; several nieces of nephews; and his beloved dog Sadie. He was preceded in death by his father. A celebration of Richardís life will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in Jefferson City.
