Timothy Dewayne Rubel

Timothy "Tim" Dewayne Rubel, 36, of Lawton, Oklahoma, formerly of Linn, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born October 12, 1979, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son of Timothy and Debbie (Pritchett) Rubel. He was a 1998 graduate of Linn High School in Linn, Missouri. On December 26, 2003, Tim was united in marriage in New Bloomfield, Missouri, to Rebecca Jordan, who survives at their home. Tim was in the United States Army Reserves from 2001 - 2006, and was also a veteran of the United States Army from 2004 - 2005, where he served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also worked for Metal Products Inc. in Jefferson City, Missouri. Tim enjoyed weapons, shooting, fishing, wrestling, and woodworking. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his three children that he loved and adored. Along with his wife, Tim is also survived by three children: Jacob Rubel, Krista Rubel, and Robbin Rubel, all of the home; his parents: Timothy and Debbie Rubel of Linn, Mo.; and a sister: Tina Griffith of Loose Creek, Mo. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Shaver officiating. Interment and Full Military Honors will follow in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Tim Rubel Children's Educational Fund.
