Rosemary Wibberg

Rosemary Wibberg, 83, of Taos, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born on September 12, 1932, in Jefferson City, Missouri to Edwin M and Regina M. (Ortmeyer) Kraus. She was united in marriage on September 26, 1950, to Albert P. Wibberg, who preceded her in death on November 11, 2004. She was a 1949 graduate of Jefferson City High School. Early in life, she was employed at Busch's Florist. She was later employed at the Missouri Division of Employment Security, retiring in 1995. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, St. Francis Xavier Over 50 Club, former Parish Council member, and a former 4-H Club leader for many years. Rosemary enjoyed going to Healthplex, growing flowers, and playing cards with her friends. She especially enjoyed time spent with her kids and grandkids. Rosemary is survived by one son: Robert (Kathy) Wibberg of Taos; five daughters: Marilyn (Joseph) Holtmeyer of Taos, Margaret (Chris) Forck of Taos, Rita (Daniel) Schwartze of Vienna, Donna (Doug) Sandbothe of Wardsville, Teresa (Keith) Kauffman of Summer Shade, Kentucky; a daughter-in-law: Tina Wibberg of Taos; 17 grandchildren: Stefanie, Lisa, Brandon, Megan, Nicole, Jason, Isaac, Derek, Brian, Jamie, Weston, John, Anne, Bonnie, Lucas, Ben, Whitney; and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Bernie Wibberg; and one grandchild: Shannon Forck. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 7, 2016, with a Prayer Service at 1:00 p.m. at the Houser-Millard Family Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Additional visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2016, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Wayne Boyer officiating. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
