Jack Lee Jones, 78, of Eldon, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8, 2016, at his home. He was born on May 26, 1938, in Camden County, Missouri, the son of Ernie and Ila (Scott) Jones, who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on February 14, 1982, in California, Missouri to Mae Parsons, who preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge from the United States Air Force, he was an entrepreneur and business owner. He owned car dealerships, was a real estate broker and has many other ventures in business. Jack was a hardworking, caring gentleman. He loved the Lord and enjoyed the many friendships and family members he obtained over the years. Jack always had an infections smile and enjoyed life. He was a proud 50 year member of the Linn Creek Masonic Lodge # 152 and a member of the Scottish Rite, Joplin Valley of the Orient. He served on the board for the various Air Shows in Central Missouri and was a proud sponsor of the Wounded Warrior Project. He is survived by: one daughter: Sherie Fournier of Eldon; one son: Ernie Jones of Eldon and was a beloved family member to Mae's children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed and cherished by all who knew him. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016, at Millard-Rekus Family Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Millard-Rekus Family Funeral Chapel with Brother Dale Stone officiating.
