Esther M. Reynolds

Esther M. Reynolds, 88, of Linn, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Landmark Hospital in Columbia. She was born on September 16, 1927 in Linn, the daughter of the late John S. and Minnie E. (Franken) Kuster. She was united in marriage on November 27, 1952 in Linn to Robert "Paul" Reynolds. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2010. Esther was a graduate of Linn High School. She was employed with Three Rivers Coop and later retired from Osage County Abstract Company after twenty-five plus years of service. Esther was a member of St. George Catholic Church and a member of the St. Ann's Sodality. Esther and her husband Paul owned Osage Antiques. She loved helping children and was known to be a determined woman with a soft and generous heart. She is survived by her two sons: Robert David Reynolds (Brenda) of Illiopolis, IL and Ralph Paul Reynolds of Linn; three grandchildren: Chelsea Julian Reynolds, Stefanie Nicole Hupp and Ethan Logan Reynolds; siblings: Harold Kuster, Laurissa Reynolds, Catherine Paschal, Joseph Kuster, and sister-in-law: Ruth Marie Kuster. Along with her parents and husband of fifty seven years, she was preceded in death by several siblings: Ruth Yontz, Jim Kuster, Mary Luebbert, and John Kuster; sister-in-law: Ruth Vogel Kuster and brothers-in-law: John Edward Reynolds, Arthur Yontz and Ken Paschal. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Linn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at St, George Catholic Church in Linn, with Father Dan Merz officiating. Interment will follow in St. George Catholic Church Cemetery in Linn. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. George Capital Improvement Fund.
