Richard Wallace Graves

Richard (Rick) Wallace Graves, 67, Eldon, Mo., went to rest Sunday, September 20, 2015. Richard had been in home care since March 2003. Richard was born March 15, 1948, in Kansas City, Mo., son of Joe Wallace and Delores Ann Noble Graves, who preceded him in death. On December 15, 1984, he married Jane Lynn Rose Miller. Rick was a Christian man who loved his family and friends. He enjoyed drawing, writing, and reading. Survivors include: his wife, Jane; children, Caleb (Crystal) Graves, Eldon, Gwyndolyn Graves, Eldon, Josh Graves, Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Braylon, Kellen, Gunner and Destiney Graves; brother, Kevin Walker and sister, Tami Holmes, both in the state of California; adopted by heart, Michael and Patrick McCoy and their families; 13 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews. Rick did not wish his passing to be mourned and did not want a funeral service held, preferring a celebration of life be held, thus is why upon his passing he arranged to benefit advancement of medical science. In order to grant his last wishes, there will be no services. A private family and friends gathering is to be held at a later date. Also, in keeping with Rick's wishes, those desiring to make a memorial contribution should make their contribution to a charity of their choice.
