Kathleen Marie Bentzen Manes

Kathleen "Kathy" Marie Bentzen Manes, 60, died on Friday, September 18, 2015, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, surrounded by her daughters and her granddaughter. Born July 17,1955, in Lebanon, Mo., she lived in Jefferson City and worked for the State of Missouri for many years and most recently at Hy-Vee. Kathy was an avid lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. She is survived by her mother, Rosemary Bentzen, of the home; two children, daughter: Trish Tellman (Danny), grandson: Dylan Mason, step-grandson: Broc Tellman (Morgan), step-great-grandson: Liam Scott Tellman, and daughter: Casey Schulte (Brian), granddaughter: Dallas "Taylor" Heidbreder, all of Jefferson City. She is also survived by five siblings, Jim Bentzen (Sharon) Indio, Calif.; Janis Bentzen Pedersen (Desi) Fort Myers, Fla.; Margie Bentzen Coltharp (Mark) Bartlett, Tenn; Bo Bentzen, Austin Texas; Danny Bentzen (Darla) Jefferson City. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas in 2010; her son, Dallas "Joey" in 1996, and her father, William F. Bentzen III. Kathy gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Private Family Services will be held.
