Linda Sue Raithel

Linda Sue Raithel, age 58, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. She was born March 12, 1957, in Marshall, daughter of Bennie and Betty Hazell Korte, who preceded her in death. On November 8, 1980, in California, Linda was united in marriage to David Raithel, who survives at their home. She was a 1975 graduate of California High School. Linda was employed with the State of Missouri, first with the Missouri Highway Patrol and retiring from the Department of Natural Resources when her health began to fail her. She is also survived by two sons, Nick (Cindy) Raithel, Eugene and Brandon (Courtney Rackers) Raithel, Jefferson City; one brother, Jeff (Ronnie) Korte, California; one sister, Peggy (Gary) Flippin, Mt. Vernon; and three grandchildren, Emma, Henry and Kaden. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with Pastor Ken Mathis officiating. Interment will be in the Enloe Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:30 p.m. Sunday, September 20, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
