Lloyd Franklin Barnard

Lloyd Franklin Barnard, 82, a resident of Warsaw, Mo., formerly of Braymer, Mo., passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Lloyd was born on March 19, 1933, the son of Howard and Lettie Mae (Nicholson) Barnard in Cameron, Mo. On March 7, 1953, he married Shirley Ann (Cain) Barnard. She preceded him in death. Lloyd worked for Missouri Power and Light Company (Union Electric) as a line serviceman for thirty-four years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Mason, and American Legion Post 117 Tweddie/Murray of Braymer. He served in the United States Army from 1953 until 1955. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. Lloyd is survived by daughter, Patricia Lou (Patty) Barnard McPheeters (Kenny) ìKenî; son, Michael Dean Barnard; grandsons Blake Adler McPheeters, Christopher Scott Barnard and his family, wife, Rhonda and great grandsons Brett Michael, Riley Christopher and Logan Andrew; granddaughters, Kelly Ann Barnard and Jada, Kendra Jo Barnard and Bayley Ann; two brothers, Leroy Barnard and Dennis Barnard; one sister, Grace Hoepner; several nieces and nephews; Jackie Miller and her family Lonnie and Theresa Miller and Jim and Vicki Miller. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Alta Mae Orr; one brother, Ralph Barnard; in-laws, Eugene and Edna Cain. A celebration of life/visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lindley-Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Mo. A graveside memorial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Mo., on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Home in Cameron, Mo., and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Mo.
