Geneva Mae (Nordsieck) Kueffer

Geneva Mae (Nordsieck) Kueffer, 88, of California, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 29, 1927, in Lexington, Missouri, the daughter of Emmett and Eva (Gott) Nordsieck. She was united in marriage to Cletus Kueffer, who survives of the home. She was a wonderful pastry chef and worked for the Jefferson City Country Club for more than 20 years. She enjoyed keeping house and watching the "Wheel of Fortune". She loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them, especially her grandchildren. She is also survived by two daughters: Rhonda (Duane) Huhmann of Tipton, Missouri and Amy (Thomas) Huhmann of Tipton, Missouri; one sister: Patty Ray of Lexington, Missouri; and five grandchildren: Whitney Huhmann of Brooklyn, New York, Zachary Huhmann of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Benton Huhmann of Columbia, Missouri and Bailey Huhmann of Columbia, Missouri. She was preceded in death by five brothers: Emmett Nordsieck Jr., Leroy Nordsieck, Murray Nordsieck, Lawrence Nordsieck and Floyd Nordsieck; two sisters: Cathy Cox and Margie Braxdale; and one special grandson: Doak Andrew Huhmann who passed away on July 26, 1995. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at California United Church of Christ in California, Missouri. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at California United Church of Christ with Rev. Collette Jones and Rev. Stephen Jones officiating. Interment will be held at Evangelical California Cemetery.
