LeRoy Knowles Mustoe, 90, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Jefferson City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 29, 1924, in Memphis, Missouri, the son of the late Harold and Aileen (Knowles) Mustoe. LeRoy served his country in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was united in marriage on September 1, 1948, in Memphis, Mo. to Bernadine Locke who survives at the home. LeRoy began his career as a teacher and coach for five years. He later worked in the higher management of the trucking industry. LeRoy was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to go golfing, hunting, and fishing. LeRoy and Bernadine were former members of Meadow Lake Acres Country Club. Survivors include his wife, Bernadine; two children, Doug Mustoe, Smithville, Mo.; Carol Ann Mustoe Aiello, Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Lauren (Zachary) Hoskins, Elisabeth Aiello, Megan Aiello; two siblings, David (Madelyn) Mustoe, Jefferson City; Betty Barnes, Peoria, Ill.; a half-sister, Kathy Jones, Columbia; two in-laws, Larry Locke, Des Moines, Iowa; Louise Mustoe, Macon, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Max Mustoe and Dallas Mustoe. Graveside Service with military honors will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Mo.
