Ronald Glen Anderson

Ronald Glen Anderson, 66, of Columbia, Mo., passed away Friday, February 27, 2015, at University Hospital and Clinics. Ron was born on December 29, 1948, in Rolla, Mo. to Elbert Glen and Mary Lucille Carroll Anderson. On April 9, 1986, he married Charlotte Bohlman in Columbia, Missouri and she survives. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era but served the majority of his time in the Reserves. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Missouri. Ron had been employed as a Journeymen Electrician through the IBEW Local 257 for most of his working career but retired from the University of Missouri. He is also survived by two children: Eric Anderson of Columbia and Lauren Anderson of Olathe, Kansas; sister: Erma Riggs of Columbia; and a half-brother: Elbert Dean Anderson. He was preceded in death by a half-brother: James and half-sister: Glennis. The family plans to have Ron's tribute at a later date.
